Set the smart phone down, and walk away

Last night after dinner, I left my smart-phone on the kitchen counter and took a long, relaxing walk around the neighborhood. It was warm, unplanned and blissfully unplugged.

Away from Facebook, computers and devices, it was just me and nature. Never mind the cell phone towers nestled among the trees! A few of my dog-walking neighbors gave me status updates….and so I  ‘liked’ them.  But the rest of my walk was undisturbed.  I saw a few cats, but no firefox.

How do you unplug?

Going for a walk in our very own neighborhood, and seeing all the trees in bloom is my favorite way. And leaving the iphone at home. Great idea
