Having been to a funeral this week, I was struck by how very fast time moves and how precious it is. Something we all know but occasionally forget in the bustle of our lives. As I stood there reflecting on my own father’s funeral I remembered the one thing that brought me sanity at that time, it wasn’t a huge inheritance or anything that was left behind. Of all those things he loved in life what was the most significant were the memories of a life shared. I remember fishing with my dad when I was five, and growing mushrooms in our basement, and the rootbeer experiment with bottles in our yard exploding everywhere.
This season I have been reflecting on people and shared memories. I am so grateful to know Mary Kay Sweeney Director of Homeward Bound who does such amazing work helping so many and who is grateful for our soap donations. I love our entire production crew who is so very kind to my daughter when she comes in, and who does not think that my next crazy marketing concept is crazy at all and assists me in combing the warehouse for parts. Our sales team is amazing in their endless pursuit to make sure all people even those in Wyoming where we have the least amount of stores have a chance to experience our work. Our production /shipping guys get each and every order out the door even when we overwhelm them with in store or web promotions. But what I am most grateful for our our loyal customers. Its why we do the work we do.
I personally read each and every customer service request and answer quite a few. You share your concerns, your praise and your stories. Whether its a military wife looking for samples to send overseas, or a mother of a down syndrome child raising money for his care, or even just a wonderful school thanking us for the green alternative for their kids. Each of you makes our work what it is, and makes us stronger. So please don’t stop writing, and please let us know what you think, http://www.eoproducts.com/ContactUs.aspx , we want to hear from you. And most of all thank you for a wonderful year of allowing us to come into your homes and be a part of your family.
